About Beado.
What are fuse beads?
Fuse beads are tiny plastic beads — about 5mm wide — that you arrange
on a pegboard and iron together to create pixel art.
Each bead is one pixel. Line them up, iron the top, and what you get
is a solid, permanent piece you can hold, hang, wear, or give away.
It's been around for decades. Kids have been doing it since the 90s.
But somewhere along the way, it got filed under "children's crafts"
and never left.
We think that's wrong.
There's something genuinely satisfying about making something
with your hands. Something small that takes an hour.
Something you can actually keep.
Beado is built for adults who feel that way.
We built the pattern library. We sourced 96 colors.
We brought three advanced techniques from Asia that nobody in the US
was teaching yet — velvet finish, holographic shimmer, 3D builds.
We put it all in one place so you don't have to figure it out yourself.
You still have to do the making part, though.
That's the whole point.
